    GABRIEL HIJACKERS AIR-ADJUSTABLE SHOCK ABSORBERS part # 49162

    Has anyone tried these shocks?

    They're suppose to fit...
    67-74 Chevy G10
    67-74 Chevy G20
    67-74 GMC G15/G1500
    67-74 GMC G25/G2500

    After looking at pictures of these shocks they look to fat at the top to fit. They look like they will hit the side of the frame where the top bolt goes. Just wondering if anyone has tried these shocks and if they had any trouble installing them. I'd like to buy them for my 1968 GMC Van.

    I have used these(brand) many years -many diff vehicles. I wouldnt use anything else. I still have some over 30 years old on my cars -still all ok & working good too.cheers

    This is what Gabriel shows for my 68 GMC 1/2 Ton..

    I seem to remember reading a thread on here years ago that said the part numbers for the back and fronts were switched? Like something got mixed-up in a master database somewhere..?  Anybody heard that before?

    Anyway, here's what they show as options for my Van..

    I appreciate the offer, but I went ahead and ordered some online.

    I ended-up buying Monroe shocks,

    Front Part #: 37188
    Back Part #: 34803

    Once I get them on I'll post a follow-up to say how they fit.

    dont ever remember air shocks on the fronts?????????????????? Overload shocks with externial springs -YES!! I still use them too!Air on rears ! cheers
