Does anyone know if the intake manifold that Edelbrock made for the 300 I6 fits in our dog houses without modifing it(the DH)?

Re: Edelbrock Manifold ?
OK, I acquired the answer to my question, it appears it will. My manifold space is 7 5/8" engine to DH wall. This intake is 6 3/4" wide leaving me about 3 1/2" from the center of the carb throat to the DH wall.

Spent a little more than I wanted to, but it is NOS and the time I will save on not modifying the DH will make up for it.

That's a very rare and much sought after intake. I'm told they work great. I also believe it to be the only one that fits inside the stock doghouse. Great score. Wish Edelbrock would dig this out of moth balls and cast a few more.

I feel really lucky, I stumble on it in the last couple of hours of the auction and bid on it based on it looking like it would fit. My hunch paid off. Being rare & sought after is just icing on the cake.
