i have been window shopping for a couple years now, and havent seen anything affordable on this side of the mississippi. i dont have a budget, but the 20k trucks are out! dont want a show truck, i plan to drive and use the truck, faded paint and interior is fine, i can handle the mechanics, could evan weld in a panel or two but not looking to restore. what should i expect to pay? at this point, i am not anxiuos to buy, but seeing what is out there. maybe buy tomorow, maybe in a couple years? i just havent seen many on the lower end to get a feel on prices.

Re: cost of van-ups?
not in a hurry, but have been kicking it around ever since i gave up my truck. i need a truck, thought i could get by without but i need something. so its between a used toyota or a van-up. i plan on using it, not showing it so i dont want anything too nice.

Re: cost of van-ups?
In the Corvair world, the Rampsides and Loadside trucks demand higher prices than the vans usually. I think this is because the trucks were most often used for working and were eventually used up! Finding a straight, non-rusty truck is harder than a passenger van.
I have seen vintage pictures of Rampsides being used by paving companies with miniature steam rollers being driven up the ramp!
