Luckily it wasn't an issue for me. Like anything the devil is in the details. I thoroughly cleaned the channel on the van with a wire brush, then examined the entire surface for any burs and addressed those with a file and primer. I suppose if i had a leak i would repeat the process.westcoastvanner wrote:Jfox... if you had found water leaks after installing the seals, what do you do to fix them?

Hey jfox,
I am very sorry I missed helping you on this. Family and work have both been chaotic lately. I would have learned a lot for sure.

Anybody use a pro to do this? I tried to do it on my 69 a108 and gave up.
Want to make sure I don't need a special vintage guy.

I did, it cost me $90.00 but it looks great, well worth having the pros do it!

Yeah I meant not a vintage specialist. It's pretty simple, but just checking.
