New in Arizona - Intro Empty New in Arizona - Intro

Post by Guest Thu Jan 22, 2009 4:26 pm

    Hi all,

I just joined the group and wanted to say hey. My name is Dale, I live in Gilbert Arizona (PHX area). I had a decked out Econoline when I was in high school (ahhh, that was the life!). Lots of fun. Well now later in life, I'm thinking about getting another one. If you hear of any forsale near me, let me know. Anyway, I just wanted to say hey.

    Thanks,
    Dale - Arizona

Welcome to the forums. Keep an eye out on ebay. There always seems to be at least one listed there.

Hey Dale. Welcome, come on in. I'm sure you'll find a solid Econoline out there that will make us in the rust belt very jealous.

    Everyone,
Thanks for the warm reply. I appriciate it, seems like a very friendly forum. Well, I will keep my eyes open for E-Van. I don't have to be in a big hurry. Laughing

In the mean time, I'm sure I will have more questions. I will do some reading and learning here as well.

Hey Dale, your right in the middle of the "DRY BELT" for vehicles, if there's one out there for you, it can't be too far. When you do find one it'll be pretty rust free, bigtime advantage!!! Good Luck!!! Cool

haakowii, Yes your right living here does have its advantages at times. We don't have the problems with rust that some states have.

Here is a picture of my pickup that I restored about 12+ years ago. Thanks to it being an Arizona truck, it still has its original paint. (I Still have it, just took this picture tonight).

I'll be sure to let you all know when I find the right van and can start the project. Smile ..... Dale - AZ

Yes itruns was correct. It is a 1965 Datsun 1200cc pickup with a whooping 60hp. Shocked
