Fred, you were put on this earth to do exactly what you are doing. You've got the Midas touch when it comes to interiors. Thanks again for the pics

You are too good!
I'll be calling you to ask how you made those window panels.

This looks so darn good. Gives me ideas for mine (but got way too much body work to do first). Great Job! Thanks for posting these pics.

Re: 65 Falcon van
What kind of padding do you use for the front door panels? How thick?? Been working on front panels for mine but cannot find the correct thickness everything is too thick and handles and window cranks will not work correctly

Re: 65 Falcon van
I use 1/2" backed foam. Most likely the problem is not the foam but the panel itself. The area around the window crank is raised about 1/4" about 2" in dia. If you let the panel rest on this it will be too thick. You have to cut a large enough hole in the panel to allow the entire raised area to fit through.Buzzard wrote:What kind of padding do you use for the front door panels? How thick?? Finally finished
After almost 10 months I finally finished Jesse's 65 Falcon van interior. Front seat are from a Fiero, rear seat is from a 76 Econoline van. In addition to the interior I also added an electric aux coolong fan, thermostat, thermostat housing, new king pins, front end alignment, heater hoses, defroster hoses, defroster ducts, pop out window seals, windsheild, mirrors, door seals, belly pan and 15 X 7 Cragar SS wheels with Dunlop 205/65 X 15 tires.

Nice piece of work Fred! That is one of the nicest and cleanist interiors I have ever seen in one of these! Jesse's one of the luckiest people on earth! Fantastic job as always.

Re: 65 Falcon van
Very nice... I like the rims, took your sizes for rims and tires. Perfect stance.
