i got a new one (question)

hello everyone.
hey this has kept me off my sleep, well not that much,

when i start the van for the first time in the day the engine acts up bad, it dies and needs me to put the pedal a little in to keep it from turning off., has bad idle, but once it warms up it is just OK. with the exception that when i rev it up fast the carb makes a "choking" sound, and the engine dies, this chocking happens all the time. when i rev up fast, but other than that im enjoying this van..
any thoughts..??

it should, its the automatic one. and it opens and closes right.

Yep, Mines the same way. I took the Auto off and replaced it with a manual. After warming up it runs great. You might want to check your timing as well since 90% of all Carb problems are in the Distributor ya know......
