Post by JOHNFIELY Mon Oct 29, 2012 7:23 am

i got a 64 chevy van and went to replace the kingpins. i took them apart real fast and did not see where the rubber o-rings came out of. i'm thinking their from the bottom of the bearing or the top of the washers. anyone help me out. john

They would go like if right before you pushed the upper bushing into the steering knuckle, you put the o ring in the hole and the bushing pushed it down to where it belongs,,,,however,,,,I wouldn't worry about it if the o ring did not like staying in there while you try and put it all together,,,,,,,,,
