Re: 3 point seatbelts
I mounted mine this weekend. These belts are really nice!!
I mounted the reel to the metal box using a large thick plate that i welded a nut to. It just fits inside the 3 screw triangle opening. I also moved the fixed end of the belt over a few inches and i was able to reuse the stock nut/plate with one of the new bolts.
I'll get more pictures up soon.
I still need to make plates for the pillar and trim the plastic trim. I mounted the buckle to the doghouse with large plates.
It felt good driving it today.

Re: 3 point seatbelts
This is for the A100 guys, After reading and looking at the pictures that are posted. I decided that the humvee kit that most of us bought would not work for Dodge guys. The female side would not reach any good anchor point without some kind of welding job. Also did not feel comfortable anchoring it to the dog house, seems like mine is not the strongest part of my vehicle. So i bought another 3 point kit off ebay with a 18" female belt that i can anchor to the existing mounting point. I combined both kits, since the Humvee kit has everything u need, using the anchor plate and new bolts. Belt fits perfectly over shoulder, works great and what a safe feeling these belts offer. Also wanted to thank all you guys that post pictures, it really helps out and gets the thought process flowing.

Thought I would put up his new posting for these on eBay for those who still want an option... Looks like the price has gone up just a little bit but still well worth it.

Re: 3 point seatbelts
i have been thinking of adding a roll cage to my van right behind the front seats. i think that it would be a great seat belt mounting location.

Do you have a part# or link for the longer females that work with this Hummer kit(females and Hummers )? I to just purchased this kit and am installing on my 66 A100. Thanks
Jesse

Re: 3 point seatbelts
I just got mine yesterday. These are really nice for the cost! I'm going to see what I come up with for mounting today.
I'm curious how much the government / we originally paid for these? I bet like a thousand dollars.

Oh I know they're worth it! Ive got no question about that. I was just doing my (favorite thing) planning and looking into what to buy and how much its going to cost. Im not quite ready for new seatbelts yet. seats first. Cant align a belt to a seat you dont have. My factory Avan seats and random seatbelts (rear caprice driver seatbelt and front 64 comet passenger side seatbelt) will have to continue for just a little bit longer! Ones black ones blue lol.

Re: 3 point seatbelts
If anybody finds this thread and needs a set of these I have a brand new set. Bought them and changed my mind. I have everything, I just cut one of the brackets that is not nessicary to use. I paid $60 shipped. I will sell for $40 shipped to anywhere in the US.
