Hey Bill , I was wondering what you made your panel brackets out of and how far down from the top rail you mounted it. I would like to get something in if its has to be welded before I do the jamb paint and I havent aquired the belt set up yet.

Digz,I measured from the bottom of the roof rail and its 8 1/2 inches down to the brace the shoulder belt is attached to,the bracing is 1 inch square tubing. After using this set up it is a must do for safety and they are also comfortable .I would do it before you jam it that way it's done.I feel safer driving and so does my wife.I can find out what the belts are out of ,i think they are out of a chev suburban they work great.
