Just came across an article about Travolta's ripped off Mercedes:

    http://autos.yahoo.com/blogs/motoramic/john-travolta-stolen-mercedes-280-sl-chopped-evildoers-221312977.html

Why would anyone chop something so nice and classic?

    Cash talks & B.S walks!!!!
The guy should of known better than fall for that scam. That one is old& I thought everyone knowed that one. The cashier check scheme has even fooled the banks & once they give you the money & it comes back bad they come after the seller for their money back!

Everyone should be on alert for this scam & more. There are scammers out there washing the new $5 bills & printing $100 on them they look real will pass the marker test & the only way to spot them in to look at them in the light. If you see Abe instead of George it's fake!

Cash money is the best way to go to avoid getting ripped off! I have heard of quite a few people in my area getting ripped off on the cashiers checks, money orders, western union money grams & more scams. All should also be advised that people are buying stuff on eBay & off of the web & claim to pay for it with PayPal. The seller gets a fake email that claims to be from PayPal showing that they have received full payment. The sellers then ship the merchandise only to find out later that they have been scammed. I always check my PayPal account to verifiy that the payment is legit & has posted to my account before I ship anything.
