My Dad had a Ford Super van when I was growing up, I have owned my Dodge since February, and bought my Chevy in May. They are definitely addicting!

bought my 1st van in 1975 it was a 73 dodge van and went to my 1st van in in 75 as well. and have owned one ever since.. i guess that is 37 years now...

Im pretty young compared to a lot of people on the site, but Ive always been around some kind of van and I've always thought they were cool.
Grew up taking trips in my parent's Chevy Astro van and riding to the beach in my grandfather's multiple VW Bus'. Before I bought my 65 about a year ago, I owned an 86 Toyota van, with the mid engine.
I love old cars in general too, I owned a 64 Dodge Dart wagon and 74 Toyota Hilux pickup.
Now that I have my early, Im hooked and I hope to always have at least one!

Ive had my 69 since my 19th birthday (apr 1991) when my dad finally let me have her, I have had several vans since I got her , mostly 1st & 2nd gen g10s but also a couple 3rd gen g10's (71 & 85)and 2 Astro Vans which I am also VERY fond of

Been into vans ever since I borrowed my parents 74 chevy van to go out cruising when I was 16. It had slot mags and side pipes. Bought MY first van when I was 19, and never looked back. Now I have 7 vans. 3 early's and 4 newer daily drivers. I still have those side pipes off that chevy van though...lol, that's all that's left of it.

Parents bought a new Dodge B100 Tradesman in 1976 and I rode around in that for a few years hauling a midget racecar around the midwest for a few years, the van life must have took ahold of me because I always thought they were cool afterwards. Got my A100 in 2004. Don't see how one could live without one, really. Most fun, practical vehicle ever!

My first van was a 1965 Econoline that I bought in 1979, a year out of high school. I paid $100 for it, rebuilt the engine, fixed the bad Bondo, and drove it for 10 years.
I remember the advertisement for it said Mag Wheels, which turned out to be rusty mag-looking hub caps, and one was missing!
Many more vans since then, but you always remember your first!

my Dad had a 61 Ford 2 63 Fords for his Painting bussiness and a 65 Chevy customized from when I was 3 to 8 years old I always loved the Chevy.Later he had a 61 Ford van-up a 68 Dodge and a 68 Chevy.The summer I turned 13 I worked for my Dad painting houses and at the end of the summer he gave me $100 and the 68 Chevy 108 250/3 on the tree.I had that van from 1984 to 2002 when the left side fell apart.Since then I had a 79 Dodge,71 GMC,78 GMC and a 85 Dodge but always wanted another early Chevy.Then in January 2010 I found my 69 Chevy 90 250/auto.
