Not a bad ole bus, did a load of miles in a short space of time. I think around 6,000 miles or so in 3 months. Only got pulled up twice by the Feds...for driving on high beam through Phoenix at night - one headlight out, so what do ya do? lol.

"Pull over to the side of the road before we all get mashed" was the voice on the speaker.

Oh yeah, we got pulled for speeding down the Pacific Coast Highway doing about 90. Cop was on the dirt off the freeway and spotted us. Man I was glad we had confusing documents like foreign drivers licence etc Rolling Eyes

I'd be back tomorrow given the chance.

I have friends all over Canada & US, and I could easily get lost visiting them all Very Happy

If I remember correctly, it was a '77 Chevy 1 ton, with auto and 327. It also had a sun dome on the roof which leaked. So we replaced it, but installed it facing forward when open so we could catch the breeze when driving through the Arizona & New Mexico area. Bad move, as the wind tore it to shreds Rolling Eyes So we got yet another one. Van ran sweet, and was a tight squeeze, but 4 of us slept in it at times. Hauled a lot of parts around too...lol
