I am all about "to each his own", but for me the quickest way to ruin the aesthetics of these old vans is to change out the steering wheel- especially if the owner goes smaller!
These big rigs were meant to have a nice wide diameter steering wheel with a gaudy horn button in the middle. The small aftermarket steering wheels just make them look like cheesy toys.
I feel the same way about stock wheels and hubcaps, but that is another thread.

Get into the grant site - they have made these adapters since time bagan- ive used them on all my chev van & pu projects. Likely they will also have a toll free # - so ask & get threir part # for ur applocation - then to summitt. Ive got a couple adapter kits in the garage now -just its snowed in =
