41 Van Nat's

The next Nats will be in OH, I would like to get something going for next year. We have alot of members here that have never been to the Largest vanning event. Chevy van are always strong at the Nat's and would like to see more Econo's and A100's there. OH is always one of the bigger Nat's and would like to see more early's vans there. We need to get together with other great sites to make this happen. If your a member at VCVC or the Yahoo Econo & A100, vannin.com sites please pass the word to start planning on going. I know many of you are still far away from OH, but the biggest costs are getting there. Once there it's cheap to be there. Let make this the biggest Nat's in years

in the recent yrs they have opened it up to 70s , would be cool to see and meet some earlys and owners . i dont remember ever seeing any there, and theres ,i believe up to 14,000 street machines in them 4 days . i just got my paperwork in mail. also have a cool swap meet , and small to the biggest vendors , inside and outside.

There is no other vehicular event that compares the the Van Nationals. We may not have the numbers that car "shows" have, but we have far more fun without a doubt.

On June 21 the pre reg count for this year's Nationals was 380 ! This is an incredible number as usually for the Nationals you can expect only half of the attendees to pre-reg. There was a new record at Baker's this year, a new record at Vanfest, the second largest count at Lost Memorial, it's looking like this year's Nats will be the largest van event held since the 90's. I would imagine the early lineup at the Nats will be the largest we've ever seen, period. It's cool to see this in pictures and video but you can't beat experiencing it in person.

wont be able to decide till 7/11 has anyone from the nats have any lists of hotels & distance to them >? and if you stay at hotel is there any problem in driving your early in and out of grounds ea. day ? driving over 3 hrs , i think that would be a big piece of good info . danny

Once you are paid you can come and go as you like.my only suggestion is the Ohio State boys can be nasty, You will get pulled over and ticketed for 5 miles over the limit. Or if you had some drinks DO-NOT drive,, I'll get on the nats site for Hotels. Also this is a well planed event. I'm willing to bet at the gate they will have maps or directions for food stores auto parts hotels , drug stores ect... any thing you need they will have the info
