Im ready to put a new set on the van. I was chasing the. Cables to find the sending unit and ooohh man. Are both the oil and temp feeding from the same unit.. one red cable and a white with red stripe connect to a single thin cable and end at a sending unit below the 6th sprk plug on the drivers side. Engine is a 200. Now the fun part. Electrical or mechanical gauges? Is the sending unit that i found for water temp or oil pressure? Where is the location of the other sending unit?

Re: gauges and senders
The water temp sender is in the driver's side at the back of the cylinder hea. Depending on the year of the motor there are two different diameters.
The oil sender is located on the driver's side of the block below the coil. All the senders are the same diameter but there are several different senders. There is one for a gauge which looks like a bell, there are two for the light. One has a threaded stud terminal and the other a slide on post terminal.
