    I saw the pictures you posted and saw that the trim was upside down. I got a request in for the decode. He should get it tonight or in the morning. Nice truck. Don't park these things too close together. The're like rabbits.

    Here's the decode.

    E10 = Econoline pickup series
    A = 240 engine
    H = Lorain Ohio assembly plant
    760081 = October 1965 serial number - 1966 model
    090 = wheelbase
    (?) = blank paint code? = special order color?
    E100 = Econoline pickup model, 1/2 ton
    D = beige custom interior (custom equipment package)
    87 = pickup body style
    C = 3 speed transmission
    11 = 3.50:1 heavy duty axle (9 inch)
    3800 = 1/2 ton GVW rating
    129 at 4000 = certified net HP at RPM
    31 = Buffalo sales district
    0347 = special order number

    The six digit DSO code means the truck was special ordered. This might have been just a non-standard paint color, or might have also included other special equipment.

    The 1966-67 narrow trim trucks are rarer than the 1965 Spring Specials, and unlike the Specials they are often heavily optioned.

    Can you see the original color anywhere? Being a special order color the gauge bezel would have been painted white from the factory. All this could have been changed with a repaint.
