heaven forbid ford parts on a mopar.
actually had my hands on 2 sets of spindles and caliper mounts today off an older a-body dodge. that is what you look to be using in your pics so far and i was planning on using diplomat/5th avenue rotors. need to make a sleeve for the seal but otherwise very close to a bolt on.

Re: Disc Brake conversion
Yes the rotors are FORD but we stole the idea for our little A1's so technically it's all ford!!!!
95-97 Crown Vic just use your existing hubs I used JEGS long studs for my Cragar rims. Still working on the list with part #s and prices.

Re: Disc Brake conversion
OK guys, I've got a 64 A100 window van with manual brakes and steering. I'm dying to drive this thing on a regular basis but..stopping is an adventure. I was getting ready to dive into a stock once over on the brakes and found this thread. Is a disc conversion even a possibility with M/brakes? Do I need to look into an electric hydra-boost setup? or?.. Mr. John, how did your self kit work out? Any advice would be great.
Thanks
Jason

Re: Disc Brake conversion
What application is the master cylinder for? I assume a front disc car seeing the reservoirs are different sizes. Could you have keep the stock dual outlet master and added an adjustable proportioning valve? Speaking of which I did not see any pictures of a proportioning valve, what are you running?

The master I used is for the 73-75 Dart.
The master was changed to utilize the larger fluid reservoir fear of running out of brake fluid would occur using stock drum master.
No proportioning valve needed which is just a shuttle valve for the brake lamp in the event of fluid loss in either reservoir.

Re: Disc Brake conversion
Just picked up a 67 A-100 pickup and looking to see if anyone had disc brakes myself!! I make them for the Fords and have all the different rotor spec books. If no one is making a set then I was thinking of making some myself. I wont drive any of my Fords without disc brakes and feel the same about my Dodge. Always wanted one, and no I have one. Also looking for short donout mount tail stock for a built 727 I have had laying around forever. It is hooked up to a married 205 right now, if anyone is interested in the 205 and the adapter housing..
