Summitt sells a lower bracket I had to used when I got my headers. Stock V8 the bolt hole was in the exhaust manifold with a bracket

Here is the thread from VCVC that talks about altenator brackets. I have a set of block hugger headers on my van and broke of three bolts before I put a brace on the swivel bolt on the bracket.
