Diggin the front seats. Might have to find me a pair of those. How well does the dog house open? Does it catch on the seats at all?

The dog house just lightly brushes the drivers side. I could have made it so it didn't if I had drilled new mounting holes on the wheel well instead of using the stock existing holes. I was being a little lazy but also I was concerned with weakening the metal with two holes so close together at a point that might prove to be of critcal importantnce someday. The passenger side had a jump seat so I wasn't working with holes on that side.

Got a little more done; switched out the Jr Western stock mirrors for some second gen ones I picked sometime in the past. I'm saving the chrome NOS ones I recently got till after I paint.

Also I was diagnosing why I didn't have low beam headlights(but did have high beams) when I discovered this:

Fortunantly all the wires were intact and the problem was a bad dimmer switch. Now I just need to get the dash lights to work.

After I got the headlights working I installed these covers. My in-laws have a set on their 1960 TR3, this was an extra set they had.

Got the Cragers on. The tires are 225/70 15s, the fronts were rubbing when making a turn so I had to adjust the front edge of the wheel opening a tiny bit.

I've spent the weekend preping the van for a new windshield that I ordered locally about 8 weeks ago. Long wait time meant no shipping charges. Very Happy I found two rust holes, one on each pillar.

This lead me to redo the roof rail gutters to make sure there wasn't any major rust there. Other than surface rust I only found a couple of small holes right above the passenger door.

The Aluminium paint is Chasis Saver's rust encapsulator(think POR15).
