1985 G20 Doghouse cover with cup holder

I am needing the cup holder that goes over the engine cover. It has a
glove box, ash tray and a Cigerette lighter. I guess it's called a
glove box / doghouse?? I am trying to by a new or used one but having no luck. I smashed mine running over it while tuning the van's engine. Gosh darn it! It just broke into pieces. It's a 1985 G20 custom conversion van. Made by Contempo van's. I need some help with this asap. I have looked all over the internet and Googled most what i can think of. But still can not locate the cover. Any help would be appreciated... Thanks Vince

Should be very common in local salvage yards, however not always pristine. Lots of years to choose from. Try Vannin.com, as they have many users and tech support areas that cover the 3rd and 4th gen Chevs. If you hang around here, you are likely gonna get bitten by the bug that will make you just get rid of your 85 and get a 65!!!

I have an 85 G10 with the same problem. Did you ever find one. I've not been looking long however, i'll keep an eye out for you if i hear of one.

we dont do any vans here past 1970- the 71 & up vans can be posted in "index" under General -talk about whatever is on your mind/ early enough.This area wasorigionally desives as to talk about any earlys that were not of the basic 4 mfg's- such as corvair, foreign vans, and The not normal vans we might see.There are actual van forums online that deal with 71 & up models. Better to locate parts on also.Our parameters are -"NO HOOD VANS"  Sorry if this confused you.

Sorry I entered your zone my van is 30 yrs old i thought it was vintage. Anyway from your response i don't think i would want any part of it anyway.

Dont be hurt, he was just saying we don't get many newer style vans. Its not really a forum for those years, . sorry we couldn't help.
