This is just a fancy switch,,,,,,finding a motor and lifting mechanism that can fit inside our small doors is the real obstacle,,,,,

Today there are plenty of after market companies that produce something that would fit OK. Street Rodders have been using them for a number of years now. I searched High & Low for something to work in mine, as I too wanted Power Windows! I ended up using the mechanism from a 78 Cadillac "Rear" actuator combined with my arms. Fit inside the door nicely. Just a thought?

We installed the JC Whitney one in a 2nd Gen Chevy, but after a while we got tired of that big bump on the door panel. Then we tried a hot rod one but it was too long to fit under the glass. but a Plymouth Voyager one was just right,,,,,,,

I found this how-to on youtube very helpful for this problem, fairly inexpensive as well.
