G-Man ,Dan's doghouse and cover are on the way to him now,When the fedex people saw the frankenstien of a package I put together I thought they were going to start laughing or kick me out!!! Anyway the cost to ship it from Or to Fl was $67.72 all in one piece (didn't have to cut it in half). Bill

Re: What are you up to?
No Econo, you take one if it comes up, and no worries Bill..
I'm in no rush at the moment.
Right now I have to do an engine swap, then its back to the remote cooler idea.

Chris, a complete 2nd Gen doghouse from Or-Fl. for under $70 is a deal as far as I'm concerned. Been looking for one for over a year now. Bill's also getting the complete Batt Box out for me as well. And you know me. I like collecting parts!!!!!
Finished stripping the front end and acid sprayed the rain gutters after I cleaned out the sealer. Next week I will strip and acid spray the entire roof. This "Purple Power" stuff is awsome! It converts and seals.
Later,
Dan

Re: What are you up to?
$70 dollars to ship a package that big is a deal (very worth the costs) It's not the weight it the size that drives up the costs in most cases. Glad it didn't cost you a ton of $$$ to ship that

You guy's might want to talk to "gotavan" (Dan). He's cutting up a van as well and it might have a good Batt Box in it........
Dan

Last night the roof came off again (windy)
dropped the trans

Re: What are you up to?
[quote="donivan65"]I'll tell you what,,,,,,you guys better be spraying some rust converter, like this Purple Power stuff, up in the top inside railing all around the roofline of your van or it will be Sawzall time. It is all bare metal in there and you know rust is just sitting in there waiting to climb out......quote]
Don, Purple Power is great stuff and I have been spraying it on everything since day one. And you can follow it up with "All-Metal" filler in those hard to get places, it is also some great stuff.....
