I have a slant six and a manual 3spd. Will a nippondenso style starter work with the manual tranny? I see them being used with autos. Has anyone done this?

I can't stand the bag of rocks sound of a starter i have now.

Just look in the van and truck section of the yard and look at Mopars with a V8 that has a mini in it. It will fit
