    I am checking on a vin for a e100 truck i am looking at for posssible parts for my truck . The vin is E1OSH133949 I am checking to see what motor is in it and what other options it may have had from factory or whatever else you can learn from the vin.

    From just the VIN# I would say it's a '61 P/U - 144 Engine - Assembled at the Lorain, OH plant. To get all the other particulars, tranny, rearend, color, ect. you will need the numbers off the data plate. Hope this helps.
