I'm about 3/4 done with the install of Fatmat. Went for a drive to the lake today 80mile round trip .Fishing. Man what a difference so much quieter. I love this stuff. I fell bad for the next guy that want to try to take if off. I put heat shrink on all the door guts work great. so nice to drive without all the kayos. And Im the only Econo in town. Is thier any others in town or Tucson. AZ?

Nice work!
Heat shrink tubing around the door linkage too? Did I read that correctly? That's a good idea. How exactly? On the ends, or other rattle-spots? Would tape work to quiet down the doors' guts?

One other thing to consider on the linkage is the stuff they use on new stuff.
Kinda like the old finger trap, it expands when pushed together, tightens when pulled longer.

Re: The FatMat is great
the 3m heatshrink Works good. I used over sized gas line firs but it liked to move around more. and sometimes get in the way, The heat shrink held alot better. So far.
