240 with auto choke carb linkage pics

Anyone have a 240 with an auto choke carb....?
Think you can send me some pics of how the throttle linkage hooks up and a couple pics of the idle screw linkage?
The PO did a makeshift job on the 240 install....things just don't seem right...
here's a pic of what I got.

Looks normal to me... Autolite 1100(?) carb. if you can take a pic from the backside for a better view of the choke assembly and throttle linkage... I don't actually have an autochoke, but might know enough to be dangerous. Also, an expert here may see if something is connected wrong or something.

I'll have to take another pic from behind the carb..looking forward.
But that does not help me because I know it is wrong.
Each pic above shows two bracket assemblies..1st thing I see wrong with mine.
I need to see the correct setup with a 240 automatic.

I ve got the parts but Im so far behind right now due to all the rain I dont want to commit to you cuz it may take me a while. Im also scheduled 60 hours at work this week and next.

The autolite carb was pretty common on these. I bet any 300 I6 would have those brackets... really just a return spring and link. If you go to a salvage yard, I would think you could find them in most any F150.

The ball end on the lower arm is where the throttle cable attaches. Manual choke cable attaches to the upper through a bracket and pinched into the screw a couple inches above the ball. My guess is that the autochoke you have is in place of that upper part, and you are just missing the lower bracket and link. Good luck.

so far so good...I bid on a 67 autolite carb on ebay and the guy took off the linkage setup off the manifold for me...If I win the auction I'll have the linkage...
