WARNING- BAD SELLER ON EBAY- VANNER'S PLEASE READ!!!!

Just a Warning for those of you looking for Early parts on eBay.
There is a Seller: drs6969 out of Amarillo, TX, Please be very careful. He has a long history of ripping folks by selling on eBay and not sending items then reselling those items months later. If you’re the first buyer, you get ripped off. If you’re the second from what I have been hearing you may actually get the part. And some are in such bad shape they can't be used, only trashed.

HE WILL ONLY TAKE MONEY ORDER BANK/CASHIERS CHECK. AND WILL NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS PERSONAL CHECKS OR PAYPAL. *** Basically he won't take any form of payment directly traceable back to him.

These folks on eBay have all been ripped-off by the jerk buying van parts. Most never received their parts, others received items in such poor condition they were just tossed in the trash. (ky3023, 1824white, shark2959, thunderkiss61, deepwatersales, rr72nrz, 64madmax, starlet9x, mizeboy, monniesssw).

Call this a "PUBLIC SERVICE" It's your money. Better safe than sorry I say.

And Yes, I am one of those listed above. Hindsight and a lot of research on this guy turned out to be a real "Bitch" and a $120 complete loss..... "Beware".

I never, ever buy anything off anybody who doesn't accept Paypal. It's just not worth the hassle....

I just hate to see any fellow Vanner get screwed by this jerk. And if this post save even one person from the nightmare of dealing with this rude SOB, then I'm glad I did it. I really hate to post neg. things but felt I had to warn folks since this guy targets vanner's and chevy Luv owners. If you need parts, please look to other sellers or post on this site for parts you need. There are enough of us here that one will have it or know someone that does. Good luck and glad we could help.

He has let all his auctions end and has not reposted but will be back in a few weeks. He generally does this after he screws a few people just in case he gets his acount suspended again so he won't lose the posting fee's for items still listed. Just BEWARE.

I've been waiting for him to sneak back in under a different name, but so far no luck. I've been looking forward to the pleasure of tossing him out again....

Maybe someone else is waiting, only with a pair of pliers and a blow torch.

Yeah,the other day somebody asked about a step assembly.I am the one that posted 'ol peckerheads ad.With me being a lil green in here,but not knowin any better[just tryin to fit in].Soon afterwards,replys came in about dude being the jerk.I am a firm believer in Karma.It may not be today,maybe on not this earth,but it will come back.Then they scratch they're azz & say 'why me?' Ha! I noticed he has those headlight bezels i think G-Man was lookin for.

I bought some emblems from them and never received. I just kept being told by them to wait a little longer. I waited almost a month before turning it over to Paypal, almost to late for them to do anything with it. Paypal looked into it and gave me a refund. And the emblems they kept telling me they had already shipped never showed up.

is there a way of deleting negitive feedback on ebay? nugent9628 has 100% positive ive given up trying to sell on ebay they keep makeing it harder and harder to list. and im not sure how they can figure that shipping a pair of sunvisors is 5$ mabee 10 years ago.ive been hearing a lot of people have been complaining about all the changes ebay has made.

I tried to leave negitive feedback on nugent9628, but once Paypal gave me a refund the feedback option was gone.

thats not right after getting jerked around and the blood pressure escalation you should be able to leave some kind of feedback., just be glad you paid with paypal and just didnt send a money order. thanks for the heads up Scott

You have to understand one thing..... EBay is a business, period! They will take whatever action they feel will benefit them in the financial long run. If you are a seller and receive a NEG feedback you can petition to have it removed and if it was not paid through PayPal then they just have to say "We didn't receive payment" and not only will eBay remove the NEG feedback, the buyer (You) will receive a “NO Payment" Strike on "your" account.. Fair? Not at all. And that’s how bad sellers work. They can turn their ripping you off into an art form by making you look like a "deadbeat bidder". You get screwed twice in the deal.... Just be careful and if your not sure look at their feedback, all of it. Not just the rating, actually read their feedback. You can sometimes see how many have been removed and the rating don't really show Neutrals so read them to get a better idea of the seller. And if it's van parts... Always ask here. We've dealt with most at one time or another and you will always get the part cheaper here if a fellow vanner has a spare...
