Re: Glove box door ideas
If thats for your PU Id say the 50 yr emblem,, might be cool if you could back color it to match your paint or what ever you have in mind for interior painted color?

I am thinking of gold plating the chrome part and doing what you said with the background color

Re: Glove box door ideas
just my opinion - the econoline just looks more right - the 50th emblem is very cool but for that area, maybe to big or ? - oo3

Thanks for the opinions. Keep them coming. I posted the same question on oldeconolines and so far it is unanimous for the basic Econoline emblem there.

My dash insert, dash skirt and probably the center of the dog house lid and center of the console will be the same birds eye maple.

In my opinion, the '50th Anniversary" stuff, although current now, will be very outdated in two or three years! Just my opinion.

The 50 years is to much. I think the Econoline looks sharp. It would be hard to pick. good luck.

Re: Glove box door ideas
The Econoline script is much sexier than the 50th badge in this case, although the badge is quite attractive. toad

Re: Glove box door ideas
I was thinking the 50 yr badge because of the age of the truck mostly. If not the dash it awwta go somewhere ? lol

Re: Glove box door ideas
I am like most and like the basic script as it will always work with the truck. The only time you would see a dated badge is usually when it is producted on that anniversary. The 50 yr badge should be somewhere in the vehicle but not on the box cover in my opinion

Re: Glove box door ideas
Thanks again for your opinions. On old econolines it is 100% for the Econo script. It is a 61 Econo so it is 50 years old but like most everyone else I think it is to big for the glove box door. I may put it on the molded in tailgate once it is painted. I really like the script Dennis makes. It adds a touch of class. Which is what I may name the truck.
