Re: What state /city are you in?
I'm hoping to move east next year..
Right now we are thinking North Carolina, South Carolina, or Georgia. I would like something cooler then the summers in Texas. She wants the beach, I like the mountains. But I need to be close enough to a major city to get a decent job in IT.
The company I'm with is on pretty shaky ground right now, hopefully I can get another 6 months out of this job.

I’ve lived on both coasts, and many places between. we settled in austin, tx. yeah, summer is hot but access to water and beer fixes that. but we rarely get snowed in or have to shovel out the car. great music and food scene here. we’re staying.

yea buddy! Wife and I will most likely be moving to Austin our selves in a few years. For now we will have to settle for the 1hr 20min drive to Austin every now and again. San Antonio is not bad but we would like to move somewhere with a bit more action. We are not much fans of 6th street but dig South Congress.. have to let the equity in the house grow a bit 1st... Shootin for Late 2014 early 2015
If Austin doesnt happen we are thinking Boulder, CO or San Diego, CA, but Austin is a heck of a lot closer and the cost of living is no more than here in San Antonio..
