I picked up a 72 250 wth new pistons, rings and bearings. Worth the trip, it was free! 45 minute drive to the ferry in New London CT, about an hour and 20 minutes on the ferry and about the same to Coram. I had a lot of time to kill before the return ferry trip so I took my grandson along and we spent the day driving along the coast in LI

My mom's side of the family is from Huntington and Ashland. Hayes and Hersburger. Prob misspelled that last one. toad

Thanks, the township got after me a couple years ago and I sold and junked 7 vans and 2 tractors. One van is on the trailer in the picture ready to haul to scrap yard. The pic was taken by a guy I work with that had a powered parachute. I still have 13 tractors the newest is a 1929 IHC.

that sucks that they can do that! It's not like it looked like a junk yard it was pretty orginized and didn't look trashy at all i was wanting to come up and play!!!!

my only trip across this country was back in the early 80's and the praire was the only time and place you could watch the sun rise and the nitetime by standing in one spot. looking south you could watch a new day dawn over your left shoulder and see the nite over your right. really cool.
