A little off topic:
G-man, ever think of trading in on a Duramax?
Also, did yours ever have problems with idling. My 2003 Express sometimes has issues, especially when it gets wet out and no one can find the cause.

I think I know what the problem may have been with your 2003. The computer is mounted on a 1" platform on my 2005 under the drivers seat. On my 2000 it was flat on the floor and would get wet with rain or snow on I add to have connentions cleaned for a few problems I had.
On the Duramax it's just to tall and won't fit in the garage. My equipment has water in it and has to be kept warm in the winter or all my lines freeze.

Looks like a typo in there G-man. I'll check my '03 to see if it has the platform and if the connections are soggy or corroded. Much appreciated advice, thanks.
So yours is a 2500?

They used put the Duramax diesels in the 3500 Express. They claimed 24 MPG (vs my 12 mpg on a good week).
Just looked it up, 2008 is the last year they're doing it I guess.
