I got that steering box out of that blue 68 SportVan in Pick a Part last week, cleaned it up, took it apart and just decided to put it in my van,,,,,just because I can. I don't have any plans for Kampin yet,,,,,,,,but since its been raining, I get to do some garage work instead of cruising around in the land of Endless Summer. Lots of roads closed down out here from water and mudslides. But the coast is getting the worst of it. The rain falls up here in the mountains and flows West to the Ocean. Lots of people went to sleep in those hotels by the coast and woke up surrounded by 4 feet of water and seeing only the roofs of their cars........

WoW! I've been camping before, but in Canada we never bring our trees with us.
    Must be a California thing?

With all the campfires at night, you would think you were in the middle of the Indian Nation in the old days before Columbus discovered them,,,,,,,

You are surely right about that,,,,,,I find a cactus a few miles outside town, park my motorhome and go into town to the swap meets on my motorcycle and sometimes I have had a real hard time finding my motorhome after it gets dark,,,,because,,,,,,,it gets REALLY DARK,,,,,,,
