Post by BADBADGER Fri Nov 12, 2010 8:47 am

Does any one have a source for the fuel tank hose that connects the filler neck to the fuel tank and the gas tank breather hose? My local Napa store was not able to find them. 67 dodge a100

    Thanks.

Yeah, it should be the Gates 24716 (1.75" I.D. w/ 90 degree bend).

You can take a calipers (or crescent wrench) to the filler pipe and see what dia. yours is. I know they changed that tanks at some point in time.

I have 1 .75" straight hose with 1 1/2" cooper elbows on my '65 and '66. My vent hose is 1/2" gas line.

That is weird that your Napa couldn't find the NBH 1038, it comes right up on the online site. It is longer than what we need so you have to cut it to length, the other number I have is the same gates one as "itruns"

I called Napa with the Gates part # 24716. It came up on their computer immediately. Has to be oredered from Seattle Wa but thats OK. It will be here later in the week. The local napa parts dealer has a couple of really good parts guys and a few lame ones who wont do much to help. Im still looking for the part number for the molded hose that goes on the small breather pipe.
    Thanks.

I have the #'s from the dealer part book, but haven't been able to find a source yet.

2501 463 for the one at the filler

2501 465 for the one at the tank

Dix... May of '69 is the last update that was posted to my book at the dealer. The stick is 2532 903, tube 1859 788. When I had to get one for the '68 I got a chrome one off ebay. I had to grind the chrome off the tip that goes in the block to get it to fit right.

Dix.... You need to get the casting numbers off your block and find out what year you have. Of the 3- 318's and 1- 273 I have, 2 have been missing and the other 2 are the same length as the ones I got off ebay. My engines are from '66 to '69. I wish we had a bracket welded to the tube that would bolt to the head, next time I have the Alt. off I'm going to see about making one up.
