Getting ready to install the fuel tank in my A100 pickup. Need to know what the material is that’s on top of the tank between the bed and tank. Sort of an insulating pad of sorts. Where can a guy get some of that?

I got some from a local roof shop (Germany, though) - for free, as it was a small surplus item. It is an unsanded butyl-type sheet, approx. 1/4 to 1/2" thick. I cut it to size and glued it to the tank.

Should be available at a decent HW store, e.g. Homedepot.
