Yeah, I had to open the step by step directions in another tab and keep referring back to it. Now I'm a picture posting genieass.

Re: How rare is this?
See, it's easy to tell it's not a corvair van now!
Looks like a good start for a project, provided you don't find lots of hidden rust (A pillar?).
Any thoughts on what you want to do?

Re: How rare is this?
Well I'm thinking of an angle chop, or 4wd or both. An angle chop would give me less to fix on the A pillar. I need new side and rear doors, headlight rings, defroster vents, wiper arms, you know the usual.

Re: How rare is this?
That is a sweet AGENT ORANGE van for sure, wish it was mine .
But I have thought about cutting down the front half of my 1964
corvair 8door panel, you know from the fronts of the quarters
forward. What do you think??? Jimbo

Re: How rare is this?
IMO it looks to be a 64; don't know why it has a "C" prefix. My manual says the first number should be the year. GM changes did not always follow the calendar year. Often, they would incorporate changes for the next model year into current production, not just on Jan 1st. My 64 was built late in the 1964 production run and has the larger grill opening(change for 65), as well the radio antena on the drivers side(change for 65). Just my 2 cents.
Another Example:
My 1970 Chevelle is an early production run car with BBC frame reinforcements but a SBC motor, first design rear bumper mounting(thru hole/ early, slots/late) and an early trim pkg. (top edge mount fender spears and front valance trim.). The trim pkg. was deleted later in the year. I purchased this all stock car from the original owner. Some of this you only find upon disassembly of the vehicle; ask me how I know.

Re: How rare is this?
I know mine has 3 positions on the shift indicator for the forward gears. Does that make it a t350 instead of a pg?

Re: How rare is this?
Well I guess my mission for tomorrow is to crawl under and take a look at the shape of the pan. I had better do it before lunch or I'll need a jack.
