    On the money,, and will for sure vouch for that one...it never happened.. I have never seen a 300 as OEM in the 1st gens,,,,, and not totally sure on this,, but,,,,perhaps I thought I had seen a few 68's with what I suspected as perhaps a 240??? It was trivial to me, and never really looked into it, but have always wondered???
    Especially, as to the hundreds of the GENII's that I have seen . I have only seen ONE,, and totally surprised to see it?? a GENII with a 67 type lower aluminum mount that for sure came from Ford....... no way out of it, it was O.E.M., as I do columns ?????? there are some oddities out there, but there never was an OEM 300 in a 65 to 67 Econoline, like you say.
