A/C with 170 cu. in. Engine..Will it work?

That's the question..any of you guys ever try to set up A/C with a stock 170?
I'm worried about the power loss....and the money that will be spent for something that just won't work well.

Ive parted out several so called factory a/c models with 170 motor. All were actually dealer or aftermarket installed. Never had one that operated though.

The compressor mount (using a Sanden compressor) is easier to find for the small six! Took me a while to find one for our 240.

(note to Casimier: I was out of town last week and forgot all about the measuring the door thingies! I'm heading out to do that now)

Just a note..I found one of those clips in my van toolbox...
probably from one of my earliers...
I'm gonna mold it out and make a fiberglass clip...
Should be ready in a couple of weeks.
What color you want?
