I'm going to need all the usual parts an more . I guess what I'm saying is HELP . oh I'm kind of thinking I would like the rear door windows to open like the pop out kind in the newer vans

Re: GK POST van
The 12 bolt rear ends are the 3:73 and 4:11 gear ratio types,,,,,lots of power,,,,,but you don't go fast,,,,,,,
Here is a 1970 Chevy Van VIN,,,,,,,,,,,GS150P1000425,,,,,,
G=Chevy,,,,,S=6 cyl,,,,,,,1=1/2 ton,,,,,,,,5=panel,,,,,,0 is 1970,,,,,,, you get an E for an 8 cylinder,,,,,,,a 2 for a 3/4 ton and a 6 for a SportVan,,,,,,,, You can just take those windows out of the rear doors and install the pop out type from a SportVan,,,,,,,however,,,,,,you will probably be sucking in the exhaust going down the road,,,,,,,,,,

Re: GK POST van
very close 119523 the rear and the side doors have old sliders that make more noise than there worth so the pop outs seem like the way to go . As for how it runs well its in need of a carb rebuild and maybe valve seals and rings . One thing at a time on my budget. Thanks for the help .

Re: GK POST van
So what kind of windows are in there,,,,,,,,Stationary ones or something that opens? The SportVans from 1965-70 have Pop Outs that open from the sides. We are talking about windows in this post,,,,,,,,

Re: GK POST van
the windows seem to be aftermarket there sliders on the sides and rear. Some are broke and that don't hurt my feelings they make a hell of alot of noise
