Have not post in a while..

well i have been busy working..
working on the van, and trying to hit some local car shows..
hope everyone is doing well and all your vans are coming together..

Pretty excited about getting in on my local carshow next year too. They have never had a van in any of their shows and I hope to be the first. I'm afraid to have my garage door open...always have people stopping saying they just had to check it out! Love the flat black...your van looks awesome!!!

My apologizes, I haven't posted or even visited in a few months

Business has been up and down. Had to chase a bunch of money. If I can't take a paycheck, then throwing money at the Scooby would go over like a fart in a spacesuit, so the poor thing has been on jack stands for the last several months waiting for it's belly pan that the fabricator couldn't seem to get right.

Got the pan installed yesterday, went to lower the van and did a big time oops. For some reason (bad eyes?) I placed the jack under tie rod instead of the axle. Turn the rod upside down, applied the jack, turn it 90 degrees, applied jack, seems straight now. Have no idea how the tie rod ends held up.

Also found that someone had by-passed the starter relay by running a jumper from the ignition switch , so I gotta get going on the rewire project that I was supposed to get done over the winter.

The good news is that the van idled for a while in 80 degree temps and didn't overheat. Looks like switching the radiator inlet to the other side along with a 160 degree thermostat helped. We'll see how she runs on a 33 mile commute in 90 degree weather this weekend
