Gotta go against you on this one G-Man. From what I can tell, his truck is pretty as it is and melting the credit card isn't the way to happiness. Sorry, it's one of my pet peeves.
The chrome grill will really set the truck off and should serve as motivation to either save or make more cash to pay for it. Besides, you should be able to get the "cash discount".
I'm hoping our dirt naps are coming latter than sooner.

Re: two dodge projects
I'm not saying destroy your credit, chromeing a grill would only be a few hundred.

Re: two dodge projects
Sorry, I didn't mean to sound overbearing or dramatic, it's just that there was a period in my life that the whole credit card thing almost swallowed us up. We worked our asses off to get out of it, then my parents fell into it nearing a forced retirement. So to me it's kinda like someone suggesting to an AA member's kid that they should try this new wine cooler. You really hate the thing that tormented you for so long and you get a little overprotective.

Re: two dodge projects
easy now boys and girls.........i did the huge credit thing myself and i think i got it under control. thats why i haven't sent the spare grill out yet, but it sure nuff would look purdy. besides if i could get it done locally for two to three hundred it would be on its way. these guys wanted $800.00 to do a n.o.s rear bumper that is in my garage. no damage no paint to strip never been on a vehicle. i never did price the grille but i will at a later date. anyway the transition from the two colors blue and white to a silver clear coated grill to the chrome bumper is fine might even like it better.
never heard it called the big dirt nap before but not gonna rush to that one if i can help it. workin for a livin after 50 is gettin me there fast enough......jeff
