Re: two dodge projects
Welcome to a wonderful site full of great people and info!!
Looking good on both vans!!
I too am going to be undertaking bodywork on driprails of my 64 Chevy van, rust all the way around.Of course I will be leaving that for last actually, it will be getting a few other mods/upgrades 1st.It is currently a dail driver and partial business work van, so mechanics always will be first then interior, and finally body & paint!!
Will enjoy seeing more progress pics from the 2 Dodges.

Re: two dodge projects
Thanks! I'm doing the van myself with my shadetree body work skills and the truck is being done by a pro, so it's going to be over the top. We just elimiated the chains for the tailgate so we're going to weld up the holes for the brackets.
The van has some eletrical issues I'm trying to sort out at some point I'll run out of wires to replace and it should be good. Just replaced the waterpump, now I'm repainting and re-isulating the doghouse since I have it all apart.
Also Check out my Econoline that I already finished, I'll be a posting some pics.

That second gen Ford in the center, sitting on jacks with the Knight on it looks familiar! That was posted on the second gen Ford site...I just sold my second gen Ford because I wanted an A100.

Re: two dodge projects
Some more pics are on the site. I'll have pics soon of the new tailgate assembly, we deleted the chains and are now running cables hidden in the body. So the holes for the chain brackets are gone.
thanks!

Re: two dodge projects
I'm sorry folks, this may be biased, but I think the early Dodges have some of nicest body lines. That's definitely not a knock on the other makes.

Re: two dodge projects
Yep it matches my soapbox car. The stencil started getting droopy after a while and people on the street were looking at me like I was crazy when I was painting it.

Re: two dodge projects
That's awesome! I scored some 4" LED trailer taillights for my ford, but I may use them on the Fargo instead! I like that you went smaller, but have the chrome trim around them, similar to the headlights! And the body seam smoothing... excellent!

Re: two dodge projects
Yeah, she's pretty srtaight, just few more dings to work out. Lots of block sanding. Lots. Gonna get the inside done up too.
