    Harmonic balancer Empty Harmonic balancer

    Post by rustrocket84 Wed May 05, 2010 6:09 pm

So I've been slowly getting into the van for the last few weeks since I got it. New shocks and a bunch of research into what I'm doing. She runs like a champ, but on the way home from work this week the harmonic balancer just grenaded. Anybody have a line on where to get one, or bad experiences with them. I've found some places that rebuild them, but I don't want to get something done by some shady guy. I've been burned buying motorcycle parts in the past and don't want to experience the same thing.

    I always check rockauto first.
On some things the dealer can actually be a good source, but it takes a good counter person. If you don't have that, don't bother...
