    4x4 Question??? Empty 4x4 Question???

Have you ever seen, known, or had an early that was transplanted onto an exixting 4x4 frame? I know the steering would be an issue, but if you left the drivetrain in the vans subframe and went with say an early Scout 80/800 frame which is widder than the subframe runners on the van and shortened the wheel base. Maybe it would be eaier on a 108. Just kickin around ideas out loud.

Might take the stress off the unibody too, so you could do some serious off roading.

I am sure they are out there, but it would be way more work doing it this way.
