Don't get the plastic ones, they get brittle after awhile and break easily. I had the chrome ones with the Ford logo on them on Vanishing Breed

They are not illegal to sell in Canada, only illegal to use on a licences vehicle.

They may be illegal in some states but here in Cali the CHP never said a word when they inspected my 65. If you come right down to it any mod you do is illegal here.
