Dunnellon ? you were on the Withlacoochee river above the dam then?
My grandfather used to have a place there not far from where that barge canal stopped.

Re: What are you up to?
Yepper, beats fishing in Michigan in winter.. Hahaha. Do miss ice fishing though.
Joe, we put in at the bridge launch just below the Rainbow river split and worked up both branches and the old pits as well. Then shot down stream and hi the old channel and cut-offs that were created years ago when they were digging the channels...
Was a great few days!!!

Re: What are you up to?
I always liked that area , it was only 100 miles to Daytona ,Tampa or Orlando.
Got some stuff to work on while I watch the race today.
I got 1 small panel done yesturday to try it out, I might have a clue what Im doing by the time I finish this. Had to run and get a new stapler this morning, mine is way old and shot I found out.
pic is crappy think my camera was still fogged up some from sittin in the truck,, it was 23 here this morning.

Re: What are you up to?
I pulled my 67 pickup out of the barn and gave it a good cleaning. This is a very ruff old truck. Not really worth saving but I kinda like it. I like that it's a 240 truck. I like the vintage burgundy paint. It's a special order color on Econolines and I haven't seen any others this color. I've been wanting to just toss an old 240 I have in it and make a parts chaser out of it. Might just do that this spring.

Re: What are you up to?
It doesn't look too bad in this photo Duane! Sounds like you've got plenty to keep you busy, what with a pick-up, eight door, and who know what you haven't even told us about yet!

Re: What are you up to?
It's really bad. It's been rode hard and put up wet. The biggest thing is it has a lot of stress cracks in it from the body flexing. Needs a new floor in the bed. Yea, It has a tailgate but it's a mess. Most every panel on this truck has damage. The whole right side is rusted out. ( I took a pic of the good side )
It's got a piece of two inch pipe for a rear spring mount. I need to address that. I have all the stuff to fix it except the energy. LOL. Except for a 63 Falcon van I had in the 70's it's the Econoline I've had the longest. I guess I've had it about 14 years now. I just love the old truck and I really would like to drive it.
I still have a 61 five window that I'm not sure what I'm going to do with. It needs lots of love too. I was going to hot rod it but I just don't know now. I have a 5.0 and a AOD and lots of parts for it but again It's an energy problem. I have a couple of parts trucks out back and I'm sitting on a 67 HD window van that will be Eric B's next project when he gets his pickup done. He's going to give me a hand getting the 240 in this truck and maybe I'll get it on the road soon. The eight door is on the back burner untill I get the new nose for it. It's a long term project anyway. I always have plenty to keep me busy around here. I could use some help. I guess I'm too old to start having kids. LOL.

Re: What are you up to?
Had the pleasure of going to the er for some severe pain in my chest and left arm last night. Doctor did a bunch of blood work and some cats scans to check for blood clots in my lung and came up with nothing. Gave me some pain meds, they didn't work, then injected some, a little better. Now I get to go to the heart doctor, fun. WTF, I'm 31, I shouldn't have problems like this. toad

Re: What are you up to?
Been looking for a truck, should have never gotten rid of the Dodge that I had. Found a few hopefulls a 94 Ford turbo diesel dually crewcab 2wd with 145K on it and a 91 Ford S/Cab diesel dually with 87K and 4x4. Both are around the same price and IDI diesels so theres no computer to deal with and there easy to work on. Goin back to a 5th wheel in a few months, so I need a truck. Only got 2 1/2 years till I can retire and want to be debt free by then.

Re: What are you up to?
Well. 75 degrees out yesterday so guess it's official. It's "SPRING-TIME" in northern Florida..
Had the same old issues. The front tires rubbing on the fender wells when you turn so got creative...
Re-drilled the spring mount nipple holes 2" forward. Moving the axle back 2"...
Now just have to address the steering linkage length issue. No biggie...
