how many have deleted the a100 front bumper

how many a100 owner have done away with the front bumper on their van, i'm considering it but fear somebody bumping/hitting it or worst yet having my head somewhere else and hitting something,after that it would probably be toast. i just think it looks better without.

Nerf Bars look great on a A100

does the bumper have anything to do with the DOT, or viceversa.
is that required just like seatbelts.
and just like seatbelts for safety issues

i got one pair of bumpers laying in the corner of the garage. and the other pair is making me lunch l.o.l.....

I think they look good without bumpers, nerf bars are cool. I like the chrome front bumper and no bumper in the rear look. I'll trade a set of nerf bars for a nice chrome front bumper for my truck!

i got rid of my bumpers and my dad was worried about the same thing that now there really is nothing between me and whatever i hit so for safety i put in a 6 point roll bar (that should keep me safe)

whats a 6 point roll bar?
any pictures of that?

i can have pictures soon but its a roll cage it has a hoop just behind the front seats 2 bars that come forward to the subframe and 2 bars that go back to the rear sub frame of the van

Id like to see that roll cage to,, Are there any pics of nerf bars on the As anywhere ?

heres one of mine with VW Bug T Bars

all of mine have the bumpers removed

for the VW T bars, what are the years for that model?
do they just bolt right in or you had to do some extra perforations?

i want to do that window job with the camper.. the p/o did a whack job getting those camper windows there.

My bumpers are going in the top of the garage. The stock bumpers and mounts are not that strong, and bend back into the body when hit so I'm cutting out the middle man and let's hit the body from the get go.

these VW tee bars are form 53 to 67 and I was only able to get ont bolt to line up for each one but you could easily modify them but I just had um to see what they were gonna look like
