by SnarkyPoet Fri Feb 05, 2010 12:50 pmIn the process of restoring my van, I have found that the original floor mats are just not available. Consequently, I am in the process of reproducing them. After much searching, I have been able to track down the original 'carpet texture' rolled rubber stock. I also have a source for rubber dyes that can be used to reproduce the original colors and styles. My front mat is intact and I'm planning to use that as a template for a new one, but I don't have the original rear mats to use as a guide. Does anyone here know the layout for the rear mats? Was it one piece or was it in sections? My mats were originally brown with gold flecks. What colors did you guys have? If I can get templates put together, I'm going to try to reproduce the originals as closely as possible.

Anything that someone takes the time to reproduce helps all of us, maybe do some for the econo and chevy guys too??? (can't get mats for them either)
