Re: front wheel bearings
Well, if they are not to the point where they are burn't out and welded to the spindle, pull off the hub, pull off the inner seal,,,,,knock out the cups, knock in the cups, grease the bearings, put in a new seal and put it back together. BUT one of the problems is that the cups spin in the hub so if the cups are loose in the hub,,,,,you got problems.

Re: front wheel bearings
The biggest problem is finding GOOD bearings,,,,all I see is ones made in Korea, Pakistan, Japan, and China,,,,,,I have to settle for Mexico bearings now,,,,,,,

Re: front wheel bearings
well the spindle and the cups are all good. in very nice shape. the bearings were all loose but not burned or shrapnelized. so it looks like a straightforward job. i'll have to check into the bearings we get up here in canada. they will be from asia no doubt. oh well, better than what was in there i guess. the wheels were rocking about 3/8" or more and the old girl was howling like a mother, so it was time. thanks for your help!!!
