Very excited, I sold my `70 BOSS 302 a couple weeks ago and am now able to go full speed ahead on PB2. Off to the Painter in a couple weeks!!!
Had a 69 Boss when I was 17. One of two cars I have owned that I regret selling. 17 and a Boss 302 ___ Good times, good times.

Re: What are your van goals for 2010???
Will do guys, I have a `69 Mustang Convertible I'm finishing up for a Client, and my Sons `72 swb Chevy Van also, but PB2 will be next!!!!!! Bought wheels & tires yesterday for Doug's `72 which was a long time coming. Be able to finally put it on the ground and adjust the doors.
PB2 just needs the dash taken apart (pad, gauges, wiper motor, heater, glove box...etc) and the bumpers, lights and glass removed and it'll be ready for the Painter. I want them to get started b/c the est. done by date isn't until May. I could get it done quicker and cheaper, but this is "The One" that I'll (*please GOD*) keep forever and I want it to "POP". I'll post some pics when the ball gets rolling here SOON.
Gald that hanger worked for you.
Yep, it was hard selling the BOSS but I was over it in 5 min. Was the right thing for me to do and I couldn't be happier with the 10 plus years I ran with that crowd. Back to my roots now, Vans, and I can't wait to get to drive mine again!

I hope to tackle rebuilding the fron window frame this winter/spring and finally get it past the safetly inspection which will require alot of little things like getting all the dash lights working correctly.

Re: What are your van goals for 2010???
No, front axle is done, as seen in the picture of it you posted.
Rear axle will be black. YOUR axle may get a little white on it.
Underside of the Van will be like this I hope!

Re: What are your van goals for 2010???
Don't worry about my axle,,,,,,any PolarBear White paint on it just increases its value,,,,,,it changes it from one of my junk parts to a rare, one of a kind, part!!

Re: What are your van goals for 2010???
I was one of the first to post on this thread but my post disappeared like many others of mine have. Anyway, I plan to finish the interior ( upholstery), add a four core aluminum radiator with a Zirgo 3000 cfm electric fan, a billit over flow tube, a C4 tranny and B&M shifter, an Ididit polished aluminum steering column, rebuild the front end, all new brakes with front disc conversion and dual master, add a white vinyl top and a custom made white bra ( made by Fred), add a name on the side of the van, ( Route 66 Cruiser or Cruisin Route 66), all new rubber on all the doors as well as anti rattle kits, a new windshield, a new aluminum head with new aluminum alloy intake and a new 240cfm Autolite 2100-2V Atomizer carb, Clifford Performance valve cover and 1:6:1 lifters, cold air induction, train horns and whatever else I can do.

Re: What are your van goals for 2010???
Well, after the last 2 years being terrible money wise, I hope I can keep my vans & get my 64 on the street.
Had to pull the built 350 & auto trans & put them in my 72 Chevy van. Runs strong! Musta ran real good in the 64.
I have been collecting parts & pieces for the 64. So far,I have most of the disc-brake stuff for the front, found a better 2nd gen doghouse, have another 4-bolt 350 with 350 auto, but might put my 454 in it. Also have most of the parts for a power steering conversion. No, not a ram ass-ist either!
I will keep everyone posted. Brad

my goal for 2010 is to refine my acoustic weapon aka muffler explosion by installing a engine cut stomp switch. my last victims were staples the office store. i let a 375db blast rip out the skirt shredders that rattled their windows. viva la ecannonoline

Re: What are your van goals for 2010???
Hope to get two client projects out of the shop and then finnish the 64 chevy van, body, paint, interior, engine compartment (all that is half done). I'd like to get things lined up so I can get the 8-door in the shop and on a rotisserie.
My wish is that we all have a safe productive year!!!
later,
Rip

Re: What are your van goals for 2010???
Lose the 250, put in a 350
make doghouse removable
Swap tranny to auto
put in a window
remove bumpers and roll pans patch
etc. etc. etc.
but realistically, get through half of that and not declare bankruptcy.
